Nikon digital cameras without a mirror V1 and J1

Cameras with interchangeable lenses without a mirror have benefited enormously popular since its introduction, and Nikon finally managed to adopt this trend with the introduction of cameras V1 and J1, the first models of the company that employs a compact design of the ILCs (interchangeable lenses).

The Nikon V1 and J1 share identical specifications, but the former has a richer set thanks to some minor changes.

However, both models include a 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, EXPEED processing engine dual-core, a way of capturing slow movement of 1.200fps, burst shooting of 10 fps, a 3-inch LCD screen for revision photographs taken and support for Full HD video capture.

Users have two options to choose resolution – or 1080/60i 1080/30P – the maximum capacity available for the recording of a film being 29 minutes.

Compared to his younger brother, J1 camera also features a built-in flash with auto noise reduction in film clips and an automatic focusing system 73 points, all equipped in a magnesium alloy casing.

The image sensor of 10.1 MP installed in both houses using the new CX form factor (13.2 mm x 8.8 mm) with a multiplier of 2.7 x, which is significantly smaller than the sensors used by Nikon’s competitors , most of them using the factor Micro Four Thirds or APS-C. The ISO speed is limited to 3,200.

Cameras with interchangeable lenses Nikon J1 and V1 will be available beginning October 20 and the suggested retail price for the kit is $ 649.95 J1 (474 euros), while the V1 kit will sell for 899.95 U.S. dollars (657 euros). These kits are supplied with VR Nikkor lens f / 3,5-5,6 of 10-30 mm.

Simultaneously with the launch of J1 and V1 cameras, Nikon also present a series of lenses designed for these cameras, including a lens f/2m8 Premium 10 mm VR lens f / 3.8 to 5.6 of 30 -110 mm, a VR f / 4.5 to 5.6 of 10-100 mm and a host of other accessories.
